An icy sculpture
Lips blue and pale
Cold and breathing of death
Hidden behind the crystals
Heart encased in ice
I slept.
Something warm danced in those dreams
I dreamt of springtime while cold in ice
Reaching, I could never see
Now I'm melting, melting
Watch the walls crash down
As I take your hand
Now please, oh don't let go.
In soothing I found
I lost that bitter chill.
You braved that blizzard
and took my cold breath away.
Now it's not my dreaming anymore
And so far the future truly is springtime
Now I'm melting, melting
The walls are gone now
Holding hands
Turning my face to the sunlight
I can't think why I'd ever let go.

I suck ass! at understanding poetry in general
so this will probably be the only post under any of your poetry so i wont get annoying.
